Job Title: Account Director — the goal of this position is to serve as the main point of day-to-day contact for assigned Concord Direct clients.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for integrating and coordinating all account activities throughout Concord Direct for  your assigned clients.  You will develop comprehensive job schedules, communicating deadlines to clients and the Concord Direct team and play a leadership role in ensuring the goals and expectations of the client are achieved.  You will also manage the estimate process for the client’s program, and develop and maintain cost tracking to ensure campaigns are within budget guidelines.  You will take initiative in problem solving and have the ultimate responsibility of meeting critical deadlines for client campaigns, meetings and reporting.

Candidate Profile:

In order to be successful in this position, you should have advanced training in client relationship management and understand the entire workflow from strategy to final analysis.  You should be adept at forming solid relationships with clients and have excellent communication skills.  You should also have knowledge of the operations and capabilities of production, and be able to manage all components of production to meet quality standards.  A bachelor’s degree and seven plus years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required.




Job Title:  Account Executive–this role will focus on commercial and non-profit prospects preferably located within the Northeastern region of the United States (Maine to Maryland).  This key individual will be responsible for building sales by prospecting for new clients and generating income by nurturing existing customer relationships. The position also plans, develops and executes sales strategies to achieve desired results.

Main Responsibilities:

In this busy, highly visible position, you will develop a sales pipeline by selecting and qualifying prospects and categorizing them by probability.  You’ll also set target sales figures by determining frequency of prospect meetings and prospect quoting activity. Additionally, you will work with prospects or clients to determine where the client needs help on direct response campaigns and work with our internal team of experts to help remedy the need. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all information needed from the client to produce projects is gathered and act as a liaison between Concord Direct and our client providing excellent communication as the project progresses and if things change. Our goal is always to “Find a Way to Say Yes!”

Candidate Profile:

The right candidate for this position will be a strategic thinker who can develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understands the organization's strengths & weaknesses; analyzes market and competition; identifies external threats and opportunities; and adapts strategy to changing conditions.  You should also be an innovator with the ability to create innovative solutions for our clients to help them add impact to their communications and achieve extraordinary results.  You must be confident speaking to groups of people, developing content for and leading presentations.

Other Qualifications:

• Five (5) + years of experience in print/direct mail sales, with a demonstrated track record and experience to independently source and develop business leads and close business with new customers.

• Extensive experience in either the non-profit (fundraising) market or the commercial market with middle market to larger customers.

• A strong understanding of direct mail (including postal regulations) and integrated marketing strategies to develop tailored customer solutions.

• Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to formulate and articulate creative solutions to clients’ marketing challenges.

• A committed results-oriented focus, strong business ethics, creativity, and an ability to work with a team.



Job Title: Press Room - ALL Positions

Main Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities for our Pressman roles include setting up, maintaining and running web presses.  In this busy role, you will review schedules and jobs prior to press time, read and understand job tickets and layout, and thoroughly communicate a set Make-ready Plan with press crew to assure Make-ready efficiency. You will properly maintain equipment for optimum performance according to established press preventive maintenance procedures and communicate in writing to supervisors any maintenance required for the equipment.   Additionally, you will maintain accuracy of all raw material consumption reports (paper, ink and adhesives). You will also make sure proper packing and labeling materials are available and at press for the job, and that packing is in accordance with job ticket requirements.

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a pressman highly desirable. You should be able to resolve problems in a logical manner and work efficiently in a high paced environment.  A focus on producing a superior product is a must.  You must be able to work overtime, including working 12 hour shifts if needed.




Job Title: Machine Operator - Lettershop

Main Responsibilities:

As a machine operator, you should have the ability to set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle and then keep the machines running to complete assigned work.  This includes controlling and adjusting machine settings (e.g. speed), feeding raw materials in, inspecting the machine and testing the operation of the machines regularly.  You should also be able to fix issues that might occur during the shift and check the output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.  Additionally, you will keep records of approved and defective units or final products and maintain activity logs for your shift.



Job Title: Screen Inkjet Operator

Main Responsibilities:

The Screen Inkjet Machine Operator is an advanced position with the technical skills to operate and troubleshoot all equipment.  As an operator, you should understand the setup, safe operation, troubleshooting and shut down of the Screen Duplex four color Inkjet equipment and related systems.  You should also understand job tickets for font, print size, data to be printed, quantities, materials and the proper assembly of packages.  You will ensure the alignment of printed information on work product is correct and make computer and mechanical adjustments as necessary.  You will also oversee Screen inkjet/inserter quality, ensure barcodes meet postal specifications and that image is clean and clear.  Additionally, you will assist and instruct handlers on proper packing of the product per the customer’s requirements and properly document and record finished product per the Skid tag/ Tally sheet procedure. Experience running lettershop machinery is a plus (inkjet, inserter, sorter, etc) but not necessary—we’ll train the right candidates!

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent required. You must be reliable-attendance is critical for success in this position. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.  Must have an excellent eye for detail, knowledge of USPS postal regulations and ability to interpret bar codes for quality control purposes.  Must have working knowledge of computer systems and basic computer applications.
